Ordering, setup, security, all three brands — the stuff people usually ask before they buy. Can't find it here? Message us.
A Business Card is yours to hand over — your details, socials and links, saved in one tap. A Tap Card is made to sit somewhere in the shop and point at one useful thing: the Wi-Fi, the menu, the booking page. Different jobs, same underlying tech.
No. NFC works through your phone's built-in tap-to-pay hardware — no app to download, on either side of the tap.
Almost every phone from the last several years does — it's the same tech behind tap-to-pay. If someone's on an older device, we can send the link another way instead.
Each brand has its own site: cards and tags on w2taps.com, studio packages on w2create.co.uk, and automation builds on W2 Systems. This site (thew2collective.com) is the hub that explains everything and points you to the right one — see the pricing page for direct links.
Yes — get in touch or WhatsApp us and we'll scope it properly rather than guess at a price here.
We're in West London and in Funchal, Madeira — if you're near either, we'd rather do it with you in person. Everywhere else, cards ship pre-programmed and ready to use: the page behind the tag is built and live before the card reaches you, so there is nothing for you to configure at your end. If you're on Madeira, start here: w2create.co.uk/madeira.
No. Every card and tag is locked the moment it's made — the link can't be cloned, hijacked or rewritten by anyone except us. See the full security page for how and why.
Yes — message us and we'll reprogram it. You don't need to buy a new card.
No. QR codes are exactly what a tap is meant to replace.
Whatever's useful in that spot — a Wi-Fi network, a menu, a booking page. It's designed to be placed around a shop rather than handed to one person, unlike a Business Card.
A Tap Card is credit-card sized and reusable for whatever's placed near it. A Tap Tag is a smaller adhesive sticker meant for one fixed link on one specific item.
Logos, websites, branding and print — designed and built in-house, delivered on your own domain with unlimited revisions on every paid package and no lock-in to a W2 platform. How it works →
No. The three brands work together but stand on their own — logo, branding and website work stands entirely on its own and never has to touch a tap card.
Two things: enquiry replies — website, WhatsApp and portal enquiries answered in seconds, qualified, and the viewing or table booked — and bookings, reminders and no-shows. Both run inside the inbox, WhatsApp, phone line and calendar you already use, with no new software to learn. Other automations are possible, but those two are what we're selling today; ask and we'll tell you honestly which is which.
Builds start at £499 with running from £99 a month. Timings depend on what the build actually turns out to be, so we'll scope it with you rather than promise a date here. Details on the W2 Systems site.
